The unacceptably high failure and school dropout rate of the last 12 years has been labeled a crisis by South Africans across the board. In response to the crisis in education, Eldos FM, a radio station situated South of Johannesburg and Shaping the Learner, A training agency have partnered to launch an intervention campaign South of Johannesburg. This is a small but beautiful life skills campaign, targeted at school learners South of Johannesburg. The campaign is set to prepare at least 3000 learners to succeed on their journey towards career achievement. We also understand that the current economic climate has made it difficult for many businesses to contribute to community development. FREE ADVERTISING to at least 66 000 -100 000 listeners on Eldos FM - South of Johannesburg Sponsoring youth and getting the visibility you deserve has never been easier. When you advertise with Eldos FM, your payment will be used to train grade 11 and 12 learners on study skills, entrepreneurship and career planning. The aim of the campaign is to urgently train 3000 learners before the 2010 final exams. This campaign will be complemented by regular radio broadcasts, produced and facilitated by a Clinical Psychologist in conjunction with Eldos FM.
